No other everyday image has the power to entrance and inspire the fantasy and imagination of each one of us as our planet's beautiful satellite, the Moon. The folklore of all countries abounds with interpretations and omens for each phase and fluctuation of her delicate and transient appearance. A strange and mythical creature, the Moon is a phenomenon of changeability with no obvious pattern of appearance. One night full and voluptuous, another a thin crescent; occasionally high in the heavens, at other times low on the horizon. The entrenched scientific view that dismisses astrology on the basis that planets cannot affect our lives because they are too far away to exert any influence, is difficult to sustain where the Moon is concerned. It is incontrovertible that the Moon exerts a powerful tidal drag on the waters of this planet. As our physical bodies are mainly composed of water, it is logical to assume that the Moon must affect human behaviour and more and more serious research is being carried out to establish this. Once you know the phase of the Moon in which you were born, you will notice that life generally runs more smoothly when the Moon reaches that phase each month. You may also find that when the Moon phase is in opposition to your birth Moon phase, you will experience tensions. Moon Oracle readings are becoming a fast favourite of mine. Moon Oracle cards are read and interpreted in a very different way from Tarot, and can give a finer view of points of time, both in the past, and the future, when circumstances have already happened, or will happen in the future. The cards are made up of 3 sections, the first being The Moon Phases. The card representing the current moon phase will be selected at the beginning of the reading, and will govern the entire reading. This card will also define the Element and Sign in which it appears. This enables a more specific interpretation and will be the overriding atmosphere of the reading and colour all other card interpretations. The other 2 sections that form this deck of cards, are The Moon Goddesses, and The Moon Mansions. When I begin your reading, I will spend 5 or 10 minutes relaxing, clearing my mind. This allows me to concentrate on both you, and any additional information you have added to your reading request, eg: a question you want your reading to revolve around. I will then carry out your reading and record my findings for you. Each reading takes approximately between 90 and 120 minutes to complete, and under normal circumstances you will receive your reading within 24 hours. If you don't have a specific query or question that you want your reading to revolve around, don't worry, in this case I will concentrate the reading towards your general outlook.
