Adding herbs to the bath is certainly one of the easiest forms of magick. In essence, a tub of water containing a bath sachet is little more than a huge pot of herb tea in which the bather brews. When herbs are placed in warm water they release their energies as well as their scents and colours. As such, baths are powerful tools in gaining psychic awareness, drawing love, speeding healing and granting personal protection. Choose to follow one of these recipes, or create your own. Each bath mixture may be prepared in advance and saved until needed if kept in an airtight jar. Once you've assembled all ingredients, add them to your mixing bowl. Mingle the herbs with your fingers, pouring your power into them and visualising your magickal goal. When mixed, place about a handful or so in the centre of a large square of cheesecloth. Tie up the ends and add this to the bath. If you don't have any cheesecloth, simply use a washcloth. To save time in the future, make up several bath sachets. Place them in a jar with a tight fitting lid and store. At first glance, if you are not familiar with many of the herbs listed below, you may think they're going to be a nightmare to find, or perhaps expensive to buy. Don't panic, all the herbs listed below are easily found in most good shops or at your local market, and are inexpensive. If you wish to buy herbs online, one of my favourite sites for herbs is www.pagandreams.co.uk. Pagan Dreams has a wonderful stock of herbs available for order. I suggest, you pick a bath from the list below that you are likely to use more than once. Then order ther herbs required, and make up your bath mixture in advance. Keep it in an airtight jar, out of sunlight, and put a handful into some cloth each time you take a bath. On the gift section here at Tarot Order, I will soon be stocking pre prepared bath sachets. Members will be notified as items become available via email so join the site! Anti Hex Bath: 4 parts rosemary, 3 parts juniper, 2 parts bay, 1 part mugwort.
